Lamb Babies!

Wittle baby lambs are here and they are some of the bitchiest creatures I have ever come across! But they are insanely cute so its impossible for them to be annoying. These are my landlord's lambs and they are currently hanging out all around the backyard! How did I EVER eat one of these?!

New house

So here are the pics of the new place. We chose to rent in a more rural area because its cheaper and more peaceful. Here is the garage and a small peak at our land lord's house.

There is a koi pond which just seems like a cess pool/mosquito breeding ground to me. We had to buy special tablets to throw in the pond to keep from getting eaten alive by the skeeters!

And as you can see there are tons of sheep lazing about grazing on grass. Although they look kinda like teddy bears they outright REFUSE to be cuddled!

We have all sorts of vegetables and herbs growing around the house - tomatoes, potatoes, onions, red, holy, and green basils, lemons, plums, lavender, sweet peas, carrots, peppers, chilis, lemon thyme, rosemary, spearmint, and peppermint. Also, the bright pink and purple flowers you see (called fuchsias) are totally edible.

I will do another post showcasing the grounds and I plan to do one on butterflies and moths soon too.

My Short Mountain Biking Trip

I went out mountain biking today for the first time in my life

This was the outhouse I stumbled upon while on the trail. No privacy there!

And as you can see, I wiped out by going around a corner too fast. Told you it was my first time.

Mount Dick

So I went hiking yesterday. I went to the Mount Dick Outlook and snapped a few pics for you all to see.

I left the house at about 9:30 in the morning and got home at about 1pm.

These pics were taken at the outlook itself. You can literally see all of the Wairarapa from this point:

And coming down from the outlook, I noticed that somebody decided to shoot up this sign here:

   The sky was beautiful yesterday!
